The FACT® Scoring Algorithm
The FACT scoring algorithm was deemed so unique and accurate that it was granted a patent by the US Patent Office, patent #7,321,855, Method for Quantifying Psychological Stress Levels Using Voice Pattern Samples. The FACT scoring algorithm took ten years to develop and was developed from the 14,000 examinations conducted by the NITV’s Founder, Charles Humble. Prior to its release, the FACT was subjected to both extensive internal testing as well as field-testing by major law enforcement agencies. The combined accuracy rate was 98%. The patented FACT, found only on the CVSA II, takes the subjectivity out of the testing process as well as eliminates the need for a ‘Cold Call.’
Voice Imaging™
The proprietary Voice Imaging technology utilized on the CVSA II utilizes speech recognition technology for evaluating and quantifying output graphs generated from live and recorded voice samples for the analysis of voice stress. VI captures an image of the voice from the input source and filters out any unwanted speech or noise. A latent ability to actually later identify each person’s voice will be available on VI in the future. This technology was developed by NITV Federal Services under a contract for the US Federal Government.
Report Auto-Write
This feature, also found only on the CVSA II, automatically writes reports in the background as the examination is being conducted, eliminating the need to spend valuable time writing reports following the exam.
